I am thankful for so many things, but mostly I am thankful for Kat's reminder on the rant board to check out her articles on the research thread, and Jashobean's reminder about there being more ranting that thanking.

This time of year has always been hard on me. It is the busiest time of the year workwise and I have always been a total Grinch by the end of December. This year, I need to remind myself that things could be worse. I have a roof over my head, clothes on my back, and food (probably too much of it, ) in my belly. I also have DH and, DD, my own little miracle.

Motherhood is something I never thought I would be able to experience, and this year, I am going to enjoy it and be as thankful as possible in honor of those who haven't been able to do so yet.

There, maybe that will keep me from ranting and raving for a few days!
