I really wanted 2006 to be the year that I got rid of this annoying hair. So I checked out the only laser clinic that I know of in the area that has a price list. Yikes!
That's per session, and they say it can take 4-8 sessions to achieve the final results. I'm looking at $250 per, or $1000-$2000. Not a chance.
There is another place that advertises, but I am not familiar with the address. I don't think there are any businesses in that area, so I wonder if it's just an aesthetics studio in someone's house. I don't think I'd be comfortable with that.

Something else to think about. I had 6 lazer treatments about 2 years ago. The hair was at bay during the treatments and about 6 months then slowly but surely the D*&N hair came back. Unless you are 100% positive evry hormonr that contributes to the hair growth is under control I would wait. Although some Cysters have had sucess w/ it. I'm sure as time goes on and more places offer it it will become cheaper. GL I am now a dedicated PLUCKER.

Waaaay too much hair to pluck, trust me. And it's too dark to let it get long enough to pluck, at least on my chin and neck. My hormones are alright, and once I can get back on Saw Palmetto they will be even better (can't take it while nursing, so I have a long wait yet). I was just looking forward to it, and assumed that their prices would have come down in the 2 or 3 years since I last checked with them. They haven't dropped even a little in that time.

?? about the Saw Palmetto.... Your not suppose to take it while TTC too right? I heard that somewhere but also here about all the benfits...any ideas?

I tried Lazer and spent alot of wasted money as the hair growth always came back. I now do electrolysis which is helping to do away with the thicker, black hair and I only have lighter thinner hair growing in now. The only downfall is that you usually have to go at least once a week which can add up and in the beginning you do have to go more or you will look like a total freak.
So much for laser treatment
