Default So much more than before!

Hello
I just did a search on PCOS and found this site....waow, it wasn't there 6 years ago when I was dx with PCOS. A little intro first I suppose. I'm Murielle, nick name is Muche (Moosh),34, was dx with PCOS about 6 yrs ago, after 4 yrs of ttc. I have 4 kids...a miracle, first one I was young and had no big pcos problems, second one adopted, third with Ovarian drilling and Avandia, fourth with Femera...but fertility is not my concern anymore.(Duh ) The reason I'm looking for more info and support especially is that I miss my cysters and need to stay in touch ! I'm having the rude and crude awakening (again) that PCOS doesn't go away! My last baby is 16 months, I bfed for 12 months, stopped, had AF and thought that I'd be regular like "normal' women....ha, not so, of course. So I started WW, lost the 10% recommended so far...and then, this week, out of the blue, I gained 2 lbs, feel crampy, crabby, mooddy, zitty...like pms, but I know it's not, I know it's PCOS all over again, but maybe with worse symptoms. So now what, do I run to my doctor, do I have cysts, cancer, loosing my mind...hmm, yeah, I can be a little bit hipocondriaky too! I know some of you will read this post and think: I hate her, she's got 4 kids, I can even ovulate once! I used to be that way too, I didn't O for 5 + years on my own until Odrilling. But I just need my cyster cycle...since I can't get a regular af cycle! I hope I can find it here. Thanks for listening, just talking about it to someone else than poor hubby feeeeeels so nice.
Love
Muche

Well, I just put PCOS on the back burner for a while, now it's starting to smell burnt, so I gotta take care of it. I think I'll find the support I need here though and can maybe help others too.

I have been working with Dr. Thomas Hilgers in Nebraska....and I can see the light at the end of the PCOS tunnel after dealing with this for 21 years. Google Search "Pope Paul VI Institute" and read everything you can on this site. This man and his approach and treatment of PCOS have truly saved my life. I hope this helps you and your family!

Just wanted to say hello and welcome. I'm not trying to conceive at this time either, but am getting treatment just to help the symptoms and prevent the health problems that can happen from pcos. Good luck getting the treatment you need and finding info and support here!
