Default So, tell me what you take, and why?

Hi everyone!

I've developed a newfound curiousity in this whole alternative/herbal remedy thing.

So, tell me what you take, and why you take it (if it's related to PCOS).

Thank you, and have a great night!

Hi,
I'll start...
saw palmetto - to reduce androgens (hair in unwanted places more or less)
SLF - basically a liver support supplement, will probably go to milk thistle or something along those lines when this bottle runs out.
Symplex F - to support all hormone glands - it's derived from bovine glands, so I'm not too stoked about it, however, it works. I am researching more herbal ways to support my glands.
B-complex vitamin - energy, mood, etc.
Calcium/magnesium
And I take levothyroxine for my hypothyroid.
I try my hardest to eat PCOS-friendly and exercise regularly.

My cycle is very regular since being off bcp. Last time I went off bcp, I had one period in one year. So, something must be working with what I'm taking!!

The following is what I take and why:

Mulit-Vit.
Vit. B. Complex (mood, AF cramps, energy, & when I do get pg. it'll help w/ morning sickenss)
Cinnamon (lowers blood sugar)
Acidopholis (keeps your immune system healthy)
Chinese Herbs (they change w/ my cycle
Accupuncture
Hyponidd (haven't recvd yet...but it works like Metformin)
Vitex (to help with ovulation)

After doing the accupuncture, and chinese herbs AF came a little less than 2 weeks later. So, this is cycle day 8...we'll see what adding the others will do!

BComplex 50- for energy and mood
Saw Palmetto- for its anti androgen effects
NAC- Its an antioxidant that protects the lungs, liver and colon helps with ir too
CLA-reduces body fat and preserves muscles
Glucomanan (when I can remember) its a high soluable fiber which can absorb up to 100 times its weight in water, i use it as an appetite supressor as it keeps me feeling full it is also good for regulating blood sugar
Soy isoflavones- keeps me ovulatory
Fish Oils-for my skin issues
