So thankful for PCOS

Girls,

I just really had to post this....I know it may sound weird that I am saying I am so thankful for PCOS because there are so many syptoms that rob you of your self esteem, in some essence of your femininity, and there are many health risk associated with it..but with all of that I am still so thankful for it, because of you girls. I was sitting here reading many of the post as I often do and every single time I come on this board it still feels like I have just found the site. I am so full of excitement and in awe with all the beautiful souls and kind hearts on this board. All of you girls are so wonderful...I truly and sincerely mean that...and I truly and sincerely mean this: You are my best friends. I can always come to soulcysters and just be exactly who I am and feel exactly what I want to feel and not be persecuted or put down for it. When I was first diagnosed in July of 2002 I remember thinking...I will have this for the rest of my life..and I must admit I did feel pretty sad and down at that point...but in addition to the PCOS I will have you girls for the rest of my life...and that makes it all worth while. I just had to tell you girls just in case I dont say it everyday I love you and I thank you for everything........

Katrina that is a lovely thing to say.

I'm so thankful for many things, for the support of the many cysters on this site that have given me their wisdom, their time, their advice and their friendship, the health of my two children, my mum who has the strength to fight the cancer that is trying to invade her.

But i am most thankful to my DH who is so supportive of my pcos and my diabetes. He tries his best to understand my moods and extreme tiredness. He's not afraid to help with the housework or wash the dishes up after tea, even when he's been working hard all day and is tired himself. He isn't a well man - he has Crohns Disease which he suffers badly from when it flares up. My DH is a wonderful man and i am soooo lucky to have him.

I feel truly blessed !

Thank you so much hun..you are such a gem! Salem is a wonderful man, he really is. I am so blessed to have him. You saying that I cheered you up just made my day...thank you for sharing that with me....you being happy makes me happy. ::HUGS::

This pcos is a horrible condition and if we can be there to cheer eachother up then its worth it !

I am so happy that you had a good weekend, that is wonderful. I really did not do too much, I just relaxed at my sister and brother in law's house and we had a lot of fun! Thank you for asking.....what did you do sweetheart?

I'm glad you had fun !
We had a meal and a glass of wine (for our anniversary) then in the evening we took our daughter and our dogs out to the beach for a long walk, we didn't get home till 11pm !! Then we just chilled out on the Sunday.

Aww...congratulations on your anniversary! I am so very happy for you! It sounds like you had a WONDERFUL time...there is nothing like spending time with the people you love most and nothing like relaxing! I am glad you had such a wonderful weekend
