I was diagnosed almost a year ago... 10 mos ago... I went from bleeding non stop.. to standing at the mirror doing my hair with no blood one second... to it pouring down my thighs out of no where 30 seconds later.

My first doctor just told me to lose weight. Wouldn't put me on metformin...

And a friend recommended Soul Cysters...

From May to August, I spent 3 doctor's visits providing her with metformin and PCOS information and trials... she also did the wrong two hour test on me.. and told me that I WASN"T INSULIN RESISTANT...

Even though when I read everyone's story on here.. I was identical to that...

Doc #1 put me on 500mg metformin.. and I lost about 5-6 inches on my belly... between August and November....

I found Doctor Allon in November...THANKS TO THIS BOARD!!!! and he's helped change my life... I'm now on 2000mg of metformin, femcon, not bleeding...

My skin started drying out.. and he's put me on low dose thyroid meds...

I've lost about 20lbs on the scale.. but countless inches on my arms, waist... my boobs are finally bigger than my belly...

The site is amazing for workout support.. food support...

Just everything good that's happened to me has been pushed along by this board in the last few mos

I love reading the research here and there... and I love knowing there are people going thru stuff like me.. but on different levels

So. Yea.
As I'm waiting for turbo tax to allow the gov't to rape me.
