Unhappy So tired of being tired

It always seems that I am tired and it is not and every day thing. It seems I have good days and bad days I just have the bad days. It also seems that I get sick alot. Are these two things part of PCOS and is there anything I can do about it. I just hate being tired I am a SAHM and I just feel to tired today and sick that I feel that I am putting my son on the back burner and I hate that feeling. Do you girls have any advice?

Hi. My name is Brooke. I have PCOS and was dx in 2001. I started a message board and I would love for you to check it out. I am looking for moderators and people to help get it going. I love soul cysters but sometimes it is hard to keep up with all the posts. It is hard to really get to know someone here to because there are so many people. Anyway I would love it if you would come check out my message board and join it. There is a place to talk about lots of stuff. It is just getting started but I need some more people to get it going. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and I hope you check the site out and join. The address is http://pcosandme.proboards.com/index.cgi

By definition if you wake up after a reasonable amount of sleep and you are still tired, you have a sleep disorder.
Unfortunately there over 100 different disorders out there so it is important to fnd out what is causing your excessive daytime sleepiness.

I have a disorder called idiopathic hypersomnolence and no matter how much I sleep, I can still sleep more. I fall asleep in restaurants, parties, bars & even while driving. It's a little bit like narcolepsy but has a different make up to conclude its diagnosis. The treatment is the same as it is with narcolepsy but it's a little more frustrating in the fact that they don't know what causes it, nor how to treat the under lying issue. Therefore I can only try to treat my symptoms on a daily basis with medications. My particular sleep disorder effects less than 200000 U.S. citizens and is pretty rare as they come but like I mentioned there are multitudes of other disorders that could be contributing to your issue.
speak to your doctor and see about further testing to help get to the root of your issue.
Good Luck.
