For the past few years my ex-BIL use to have the family collect soda tabs and him and some other guys would give them to theyre local Shriners hospiatls when they went and visited the kids dressed up as clowns( Oregon and then Hawaii). Our nephew goes thru there and we thought this would be a good way to give back for all they have done for him. Since my SIL is no longer with the guy we have no where to send the tabs. I have asked our local Shriners and they say they dont collect them here. Ive tried calling the Mc Donald house up here and they dont have a set up either. I would love it to be locally so I dont have to do alot of shipping but it dont look like we will ever find a place. Does anyone out there have any ideas or know of a charity in their comunity who could use these? Its not tons but over the last 6 months my parents, our family and a neighbor have been saving them and I have 3 ziplock bags full. I dont want to throw them away when I know someone is out there that could benifit from them. Please help. ANy suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if I out this in the wrong spot. I had no idea where to post.

People around here collect them for Le Bohneur Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN. You might want to try to contact them and see where to send them. They are a wonderful hospital that helps thousands of children.

Around here, people donate them to the Ronald McDonald House (provides inexpensive/free housing to families of kids in hospitals.)

Ditto the school idea, my DD is collecting them for school right now too. We have quite a collection ourselves.
