Default Sometimes I just flip out!

I don't know what the deal is. I've been treated for depression before and I don't feel nearly as bad as I did but lately sometimes I just freak out. It's like little things just tick me off to the extreme. I get this urge to clench my teeth and CURSE a lot and beat on things and bang my head on the wall. And then I feel like a jackass for feeling this way and feel bad because my little dog will think I'm mad at her. I hate it but it's almost like inside I'm going crazy and want to just get it out. The only time I recall sort of feeling this way was when I was weaned off of Prozac but that was over 3 years ago. I have no health insurance to cover seeing a psychiatrist or therapist and am wondering if maybe there is some herb I could take to help this. I hate myself for not being able to control the way I feel.

jlucy, maybe you could talk to your GP about some treatment options. I did a quick search on google and saw that there are a few things that can help with managing anger but perhaps some stress relief techniques might be useful too. Have you thought of some calming exercises like yoga or maybe you could meditate?

(((hugs))),

Well, I don't have a GP. I don't have insurance so I can't go to the doctor much. As it is I have to buy my spiro and parlodel overseas. I recently relocated and don't know any doctors here in Tampa. I am trying to get in touch with one who will fill my vicodin prescription for me (hopefully) because I have migraines. I usually get migraines from stress and had a whopper last night. I normally do pilates two times a week and my routine has been off due to all of these dumb hurricanes and stuff so that could be part of it. I always feel better after I do pilates. I guess it also could be stress. I'm sitting here with my boyfriend's driving me insane so that could be a huge part of it.
