When I found out we were getting the boys, I started writing a song. I don't know if we will have a dedication ceremony at church (DH has never liked the idea of "ceremonies") but I plan on a special time when I present this to them. Here's what I have so far. I just want to share b/c I know you can relate:
Verse 1:
I never would have imagined my heart would feel this way
But I filled with deep emotion since that special day
"The lives of these two little ones will become your own"
And suddenly this quiet house became a complete home

My 7 yo lost a tooth tonight....his 2nd, but my first time experiencing this as a mom.
I know there is something special when you have a biological child, but there's a different type of special with adopted children. Sometimes I look at my boys and think about the paths our lives took to bring us together. It truly is amazing, isn't it?

Yes, we have Santa Claus, Tooth Fairy, etc. Actually, DH was like a kid on christmas getting to play tooth fairy. LOL.

Tina, you are so amazingly blessed and talented. Your songs are always so heartfelt and touching. I get tears in my eyes every time.
I just read the one you wrote for Karen yesterday, on your website, and the whole story about her, and I was crying for the longest time. Your song really got to me too.
