song of thanks... I am ever so grateful for (in no particular order):
My friends and chosen family who have supported me through major surgeries and minor setbacks. I can't thank them enough. I have been ostracized from my family of origin due to my identity, but these various and sundry folks have been there for me even when it would have been easier to bail. They've even encouraged me to examine the situation with my family of origin and try again. My family of origin and I are not the Waltons yet, but I can come home for holidays now where I couldn't before, so there's progress.
I am grateful for my job and that I have enough.
I am grateful for myself. It took me many years to say that, but thank heavens it's true now.
I am grateful for my health and for this site (Thanks, Kat!). I am truly thankful that the people on the site didn't turn me away based upon my identity like other places. You all have supported me through big events and small PCOS related annoyances. I could have done it without you, but it wouldn't have been as fun nor would I have learned as much.
Thanks!
