Default Soooooo....

Incase any of y'all didnt see Aimee's Message, we're joining the realm of couples that are TTC.

I know y'all will be my support net during this process... and to begin with I have to buck up and go in for SA. What a delightful way to spend an afteroon

Everything looks good from where I'm sitting - with Metformin, & great medical care, it seems she's ovulating very normally (in fact textbook) so hopefully that hurdle is out of the way. I'm so psyched, you can't believe it!

Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know!

Talking hehehe *unf unf*

so basically what your saying is not to visit for the next few months cos you guys'll be doing nothing but hump from now til aimee's preggers....

i suggest making a trip up here at some point, all this canandian air is what caused us to have a baby....well that and 3 bottles of booze.

enjoy the sex while you can... it tends to die out a little after she's had the kid....
oh btw, nearing the end of the 2nd trimester, my wife turned into a nympho....more so than usual.. i'm told this is usual for most women...a little something to look forward to

congrats on the descisison guys. teja looks forward to having a webcam buddy.

congratulations! Good luck to you and Aimee.

The whole SA thing is really not that bad. In our case, and DH can confirm, it was actually pretty funny. We live approx 45 minutes away from the lab, so he had to "do his thing" and get it there by 9am - right in the middle of morning traffic!

I will never forget that day - DH called from his car when he was just down the street from the lab. I could have sworn I heard the Bonanza theme song in the background! He pulled into the parking lot, jumped out of the car, and jotted right inside, delivering the sample with only moments to spare.

I knew everything was going to be just fine when my phone rang and as I answered, all I heard was..."THE EAGLE HAS LANDED!"

It was a great laugh for us. As long as you make it fun, it won't seem so bad.

Oh, and one more tip - don't BD too much. After 3 months of us ttc, our doc told us we were having sex too much! Now, who would have even thought there was such a thing?!

Good luck to you both!

Bah, don't let Mike scare you - the first time I got pregnant, I would call DH home for "lunch" many MANY times - and that was in the first 6 weeks! I haven't done that yet this time around, mainly because he's staying home in the mornings a little longer

Anyway, good luck to you guy!

Congratulations !!

The whole SA thing isn't that bad...just a little awkward when you walk in with your little brown bag...you kind of feel like everyone knows what's in there, but oh well...it's worth it all when you find out you're pregnant !!!

Yeah, I was really upset when the doctor told us that if you have sex more than once every 24 hours, it's only hurting your chances of getting pregnant. That was a dark day, indeed !!!

Well, Good Luck & remember: Practice makes perfect !!!

I wish you and Aimee the best of luck.

Don't let Mike scare ya about the lack of sex in the future.....

.....doesn't have to happen. Ya just have to make sure to stretch out real good beforehand, because you're gonna learn to be a contortitionist!
