Question Sore Boobs and Ovulation

Hello ladies....I've got a question, and I hope someone can help!

Very simply, do you get sore boobs when you ovulate?

I have been having sore boobs upon ovulation and after. It' not going away, but getting worse!! I am TTC, but I'm only 4 days past ovulation at most!

What else causes sore boobs at random times during a cycle? (Not before your period...)

Thanks

I don't know why it is, but I know what you mean! Mine were sore for like 3 weeks during my last cycle! After my period started they finally eased up and went away.

This is the worst, especially if your boobs are big. I tell ya I think it's that dang Prolactin, I wonder if this happens like our bodies are waiting to see if we're preggo, and then if we have a period, it goes away-but I hear you, I get this every month, at ovulation and until about 5 days after my period ends.
I truly think there is a correlation between this and dairy products, maybe cut out dairy for 72 hours and see if that helps?
Are you on Provera? Or any new medications started recemtly?

Maybe try some Advil, it will help those prostglandins. Have you tried Evening Primrose Oil capsules?
I so know how you feel, just don't have an answer, when I find one I'll let you know

I've always heard that its progesterone; thats the hormone that your body produces right after ovulation. Good luck!

the only meds I'm on is Met and I to have found that around "o" time I get very sensitive nips and my breast swell a bit..(which is a good thing cuz I got small boobs..lol)..I have heard it's from the progesterone that your body is pumping that causes this..

Yes, I used to have problems with very sore breasts in the week or so leading up to my period every month. I started taking evening primrose oil capsules a few months ago and now I have maybe a couple days of soreness before my period, and by the time my period starts, the tenderness is gone.

Cool

After some reading from what I understand it's the lack of progesterone, and estrogen that is not secreted in our bile, and if we have low fiber diets, the estrogen in our colon stays there and is reabsorbed, then redistributed-never getting rid of excess estrogen in the first place--viscious cycle. Also, the liver plays a part here in concern with the bile. I'm gonna try that milk thistle stuff.
My hormones are so jacked up (rant off) hehe

Common sense-you'd think *bangs my head against screen* - but it sounds like a high fiber diet and soy, and um ya exercise all can help us.
Seems so easy yet so fun--hooray *twirls finger in air*

Good luck cysters--there is hope!

Question Tracy

Have you found that the EPO has decreased the soreness a lot?
I have heard about flax oil, is EPO similar to that?
Do you really think it has helped you?

I may try that-just not sure if I try a few things which will help and how will I know which is helping

Thanks
