Default Sore Muscles - pulled muscles

Not sure if this belongs here or on the Met board, you guys will let me know I am sure ...

For the last couple of months, my muscles have become very tight, I tend to pull them easily (even in my sleep!), and they are sore for no apparent reason.
I consider myself a fit person, I am a flamenco dancer and I have never had that problem. I am on Met (2500 mg) and Actos since February, and since approcimately May I have had these weird experiences, where I would turn over in my sleep and pull the muscles in my upper thighs (both sides!) so badly that I had trouble walking for over a week. Last week, I sat down on a foot stool in my walk in closet to put on some socks, and managed to pull a back muscle that took 4 days to repair. Since the day before yesterday, my calves are so tight that it feels like I am on the brink of pulling them too. Kinda like an extreme soreness after a strenous workout without warm up, you know?

First I thought it's a lack of vitamines/minerals/electrolytes, so I have started drinking a sports drink once a day and I am taking multivitamines. Still no change.
Does anybody else have this problem? Could it me Met-related? What can I do?

you know...this is interesting.
I've only been on met for a week, and a low dose at that. I havent had any of the really unpleasant side effects that others have warned me about, but while camping this last weekend, we slept on a padded ground (we had one night without an air mattress) This usually does not bother me at.all. I woke up the next day feeling fine as I usually do, but as the day went on, oh.my.gawd the pain.
We're several days later and I'm still in an unusual amount of pain. This is not at all normal for me or my body.

This incident combined with suddently not being able to comfortably lift my toddler is really suspicious. I lift him and my arms feel like they might fall off (hes only 29lbs!) and I get shooting pains from my elbows down to my wrists. This is seriously a worry for me as I'm a spinner and knitter, each of those hobbies, keep me sane. Cannot do either of those crafts with shooting pains in your arms!

Hi Carla,
hmmmm.... indeed interesting ... I read before that Met will influence the way your body absorbs minerals and vitamins, and it definitely sounds like you might want to see your doctor and talk to him about your symptoms, by the sound of it mine aren't nearly as bad.

Now all we need is someone to tell us what we can do about it!
