My nipples are extremely sore. I chart and it doesn't appear that I have ovulated in 68 days. Yes, I am on glucophage to try to help this issue, although I am finding that might not be the answer.

Anyway, why would my nipples be so sore? What causes sore nipples?

How long have you been on Glu?
That can be a known side effect.
I had sore nipples for weeks when I first got Met into my system.......

I started getting brutally sore nipples during the week before AF after I started met. It sucks - I feel like I want to pad my bra with cotton balls to limit friction!

Well i havent started my Met yet!.......and i was only diagnosed a few day's ago.....But i've had this problem alot in the past i'd say 6 months and i'm not prego so i dunno what exactly it is but i feel your pain!

Medications: Synthroid 200 mcg/Day
Metformin HCL ER 1500mg/Day (Started 11/8/06) 500mg before that for about 2 months that time. This is the longest i've been on it w/out quitting.
