Anyone else experience this? I occasionally get a sore spot on my scalp. They are either at the back of my head or on the crown of my head, and are sore to the touch or even to the movement of my hair. There is no bump, redness, or mark of any kind. They last maybe a couple of days, and see to come when my sinus/allergies are bothering me. It is usually accompanied by dizziness, ear pain, and a headache. From what I have researched, it seems to be a tension headache, which can be caused by allergies. My grandmother gets migraines and told me that her scalp is tender during her headcahes, so maybe it is hereditary?
I am such a hypochondraic that I am freaked out that it is an anyuerism or some kind of tumor! Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks!

YES. My Dad read a book about headaches. The book said when you start to get one, feel around your head to find the tender spots. When you find one, press on the tender spot for seven seconds as hard as you can. My Dad swears this makes them go away. I get migraines, so I am scared to do it, but I think I will try next time now that I have read that someone else gets them.

I am going to through the same thing and I, too, worry about what it could be. I have my children to massage the middle of my head or lightly pull the hair in that area which seems to alleviate some pressure. I always said that it felt like it was attached to my sinuses so I thought it was ironic that you said that as well. I, too, would like someone to shed some light on this subject.
