Hi Everyone,
Sorry I have not been around for a while but things are still chaotic here. It is 6 weeks since we had the flood in our house and we are still waiting for the landlord to do the repairs so we can move back in. We have got somewhere to stay until Friday and then we don't know what we are going to do.
We have also lost loads of our belongings and as we are not insured (bad mistake) we have got to find the money to replace everything even though it was the landlords fault the flood happened she has refused to replace anything.
We tried to find somewhere else to live but all the houses we have seen have been in a terrible state, they need loads of repairs doing so it looks like we will have to wait until the landlord does the repairs and then move back in there.
Anyway I will tey my best to get online more over the next few weeks.
Sam
I'm so sorry to hear that things are still not sorted out. Unfortunately some landlords don't care about their tenants at all - friends of mine were in a very similar situation to you a few years ago.
Have they even started on the repairs? I wish there was something I could say that would help, but I just hope you manage to find a place to stay and hopefully a new flat so you can get a fresh start.

Sorry your repairs are taking so long. Hope you won't have to wait too much longer to get back home.
((hugs)) Eva

Have you been to Citizen's advice to find out your rights and your landlord's responsibilitie's for this?

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for your replies and kind thoughts.
Deeds, No they have not started the work yet, the landlord said she is waiting for the loss adjuster to come out now. She has been a right pain over everything.
EmmaE, Yes we have been to the citizens advice and they said there is not much we can do. They said we could go to the small claims court but that we would probably lose the case.
Anyway hopefully things will get better soon, I am so annoyed as we are ttc and it is upsetting our routine and our chances of conceiving.
