I've been having a serious problem with (sorry to much info) vaginal odor, even a few hours after I get out of the shower I can smell it even on my clothes when I take them off. Is there anything I can use to help or do you think I can have maybe a yeast infection?
Has it been constant, or something that comes and goes?? as sometimes it's related to time of the month approaching, or even what you ate?

I think you should get tested for a yeast infection.. IMO

I think a lot of bacterial infections are more likely to cause an odor than a yeast infection...treatment is pretty much the same tho. You just need to get checked.
If you are not having any type of abnormal disharge ie..color and order.. I would definatly say it is a bacterial infection which is common. Its always is worse after sex too.
It is not sexually transmitted....meaning that your boyfriend cant catch it from you. I was worried about that thinking he would have to get medicine too.
I had one right before I was diagnosed with PCOS, and this is what my doctor told me. She gave me antibiotics, it it cleared right up, and I am good to go.
You can do a search for bacterial vaginosis. Some of the listings will list it with std's, but as another poster said, it isn't one! Can't hurt to get tested for std's though, they frequently cause a change in odor and discharge.
I agree with you. More than likely bacterial vaginosis. The odor is usually more obvious after intercourse. There is also an increase in discharge. I'm currently taking Flagyl (an antibiotic) for it. Was diagnosed 3 days ago. The bad thing is Flagyl usually gives me a terrible yeast infection. No symptoms of that yet. I heard that yogurt is good for a yeast infection. I've increased my yogurt intake in hopes that it would prevent such an occurance.
Whenever I get a prescription for antibiotics, I always take a probiotic. Look for a "multidophilus" or something with at least acidopholus and bifidum in it. Helps keep your bacteria in balance.
I bought acidophilus for my 4 yr. old daughter (augmentin gave her a bad case of diarrhea). I took a couple of pills twice a day. I've had no problems with the antibiotics as of right now. Thanks for the advice.

Yeast infections don't cause an unpleasant odor. You would probably be itching, too. Definitely sounds like a bacterial infection as others have been saying- they are much more common than yeast, actually.
Sounds like an infection to me but could also be an allergy to latex (I used to have the same problem after sex with condom then I found out I had a latex allergy....No problems sense. I would definatley go to the gyn!! though.
Best wishes
