^^ Thanks Kat. I found a deal on Amazon, used video set for 75 US.
But my SO last week purchased a new computer with burner so he said he will burn the DVD's if I can find aplace to download them from. I tried searching but cant find the thread, what did you ladies say was the website that I could go to , to download Shred and Slim Series? I tried exercise tv.com and netflix.com and neither have Shred or slim series.
I'll get the new thread started later today...right now, I'm in the middle of a 'new class' marathon.
Today, I tried a new spinning class (I've SO been missing spinning, and I don't have any cardio dvd's that are as intense as a spin class.) It was AWESOME, and I can tell that I'm much more fit than when I typically start a class, but I still need to work on my leg and core strength.
In a few minutes, I'm heading out to a Birkram Yoga class. I've GOT to get more flexible. Unfortunately, the one that I used to go to has closed while they move to a new location, which means I have to drive all the way to Raleigh to another studio, but on the upside, that means I get to qualify for the new student discount that all Bikram studios do: your first 10 classes for a flat $10.
Also, the new studio that is about to open in Augus will be SUPER close to me (much closer than the one that closed.)

Well yesterday was a bust for me. When I went to start Yoga Adam woke up crying and it took about an hour to get some meds in him and get him calmed down. I was exhausted and went to be super early. Adam woke up again at 4 am crying and then started vomiting so now I have more laundry to do and I am still super tired. Today my DH is home so it should be better. I need to get my work outs in! I hope Adam is better tomorrow as we are leaving early to go to the waterpark.
So I am planning on doing 1 or 2 of the new DVD's I got from the library this morning and maybe Dancing with the Stars or ?.
Happy Saturday!

I am back, tail wagging beneath me. I am bad, super bad. I have been working out, but not as intense or as much. I need to take my own advice and make the time for myself every day. I am so tired, so stressed. Its starting all over today, workout something EVERYDAY! It helps with my stress level. Between a new semester, 3 jobs and two kids and a dh , all of whom have been sick I just was having a nervous breakdown.
I will take my trainer advice and take the time for me every day. I am back, I will be better and I will succeed!

I'm not sure what the exact requirements are for the new week, so I just tried to do something. I did some searchs for pland and push up variations. I do some of the plank variations now, but the girl push ups are hard enough without trying to add any variations at this point. I'm hoping to be able to move to the full push ups by Wednesday at the latest, even if it's just 5. I love IWTB! The copy I'm using is from Netflix, but I'm going to have to get my own copy.

Hey guys, sounds like everyone is gearing up for week 7. I got in a decent workout today. It was so pretty outside when I got off of work that I felt compelled to go for a run. I used to run all the time, but for some reason since I started bootcamp I haven't been running at all. So I did a 4 miler along the river tonight and it felt great!

Told you it was good. I'm really glad you like it!

It was a good day! (I'll try to get the new thread started tomorrow...today, I got behind the 8 ball)
First up...spin class:
It was SO much fun, and my legs are already feeling the effects of the hard ride out of the saddle - even with all of the stretching I did in the Bikram class.
Speaking of the Bikram class, that was the BEST one I've ever taken!
The classroom was smaller and more narrow than most, so the instructor was able to really see everyone, and she made a point to give excellent instruction and modifications. Turns out, I've been getting into several of the poses incorrectly for years (and no one until today corrected me.)
This was also the first time I've gotten through all of the standing portion without having to take several 'child's pose' breaks due to the heat...
As is the case with all things Bikram, I was literally soaking wet by the end of the class. Completely drenched.
I'm going to try to stick with Bikram for awhile. As strong as I was in the spin class, I was the least flexible person in the room - by a long shot. But I recall the first time I took Bikram, I got VERY flexible within a couple of weeks (going daily). The heat really helps you get deep into the stretches.

Just a really quick post as we are on our way out the door to leave. I too am back on board as yesterday I did The Look Bootcamp and you won't believe 30 minutes of Yoga (cause I was a little shaky after the bootcamp) and then about 10 minutes of plank and push ups rotating between the 2.
See you guys on Tuesday night!
