I've been slowing working on compiling a list of all the DVD's Kat's suggested. It's not going to be ready anytime soon though. I'm trying to keep the important info with the titles. Things like "free" seem important to me. I haven't gotten to week 3 and I think that's where the yoga recommendations may be.

yes, let us know how that one is. So far, I've hated ALL of the yoga workouts I've tried (and will be glad when Yoga Week of OVAH!)

That said, I really do need to add regular deep stretching to my workouts. My flexibility is HORRIBLE (and that can lead to injuries.)

BTW, this workout looks good

Rhythmic Stretch (Full Length - 10 minutes)
Part of the Flexibility & Flow Series
http://www.exercisetv.tv/studio/vide...p?id=688081364

Also, for those still doing core work (who also like yoga):

Yoga for Abs (Full Length - 10 minutes)
Part of the Flexibility & Flow Series
http://www.exercisetv.tv/studio/vide...p?id=688081361

I never need painkillers when I'm regularly working out (with or without weight loss)

I squeezed in 30 min of Cardio today. I need to go and pack for a trip tomorrow. Most likely tomorrow and Thursday is going to be an off day. I have to be in the office by 8 and I'm in meetings until 3 then I go to the airport and fly to LA and am meeting some clients for a late dinner. Then thursday up early and meetings until 3 then to the airport to Chicago and I don't get in a little before midnight

Hi all!
Just checking in for my workout today.
I skipped my AM workout, but did 50 minutes on the elliptical and 20 minutes of core.
I plan to get to bed earlier tonight and hitting spin class in the morning. for now, I am enjoying my week of "rehab." I think the rest is doing me good.

I missed my AM workout, but after a couple of false starts in the PM, I ended up doing:

- Slim Series: Tone It Up
- Yoga Booty Ballet: Yoga Core (10 minutes of it)
- 2 mile power walk outside
- 10 minutes of Slim In 6: Slim & Limber

I went to the library today to see if I could find a better yoga DVD. I found Yoga for weight loss and it wasn't bad. Did that for 30 minutes after power walking for 60 minutes. Then 1-10 minute solution Pilates segment of waist slimmer which was tough but made it through. I like those 10 minute solution DVD's.

Off to bed earlier as I have a very busy day tomorrow seeing patients.

What's happening next week, Kat? I will be away from Sunday till Tuesday at a huge indoor waterpark (which has an exercise room BTW) so not sure exactly how I am going to fit in my workout.

If you like TMS's, you'll also like the original Quick Fixes (also 10 minute segments). I LOVE the QF's!

I've looked high and low in my collection for TMS: Yoga, but it doesn't look like I have it

I want it.

I'd like to try all of that Yoga video, but tonight I just did the last part. The arms segment of IWTB! was awesome, btw.

Yay for Pushup Week???? I see you're going to have us work arms the hard way.

Yep, you really 'feel the burn' in that one.

If you like that style of workout, you might also want to pick up Denise Austin's Get Fit Fast DVD. It has 3 upper body, 3 lower body, and 3 core workouts - each about 10 minutes long. The dvd is a bargain at around $10 on amazon.com

Yes, ma'am.

But hey...it could be worse. It could be 'mountain climbers' week. I HATE doing mountain climbers with a passion.

Maybe it will be Pushup & Plank Week. Yeah. I like the sound of that. Push ups and planks.... nice.
