Question Soup Recipes anyone have any good ones?

I posted about this site and the recipes earlier, but I just made this soup and had to share. It is a lowfat broccoli cheddar soup and it is really good. I got the recipe at 24hourfitness.com here is the link http://www.24hourfitness.com/html/nu...broc_chs_soup/

I love soup - especially during the colder months, so if anyone has a favorite recipe it would be great if you would share it.

TIA
Kath

hi
i love soup. I just put in lots of veg - carrots, swede, parsnip, onion that type of thing. I cook it all up with curry powder (I love spicy so i put a lot in). Slow cook it for about one hour or so.Sometimes i add red lentils too. Oh and i bit of boiling water with a stock cube or two.

I just made this soup tonight it was very easy to make and a quick and simple soup. Here is the ingredients I used:

Family size Rottissere Chicken (pull apart all the meat) set aside in a bowl.
Family size bag of Birds Eye Zucchini & Squash Mixture
2 cans of low soduim, fat-free beef broth (I buy the beef broth in the box 32 oz.)
2 15oz. cans of chopped or diced tomatoes ( I buy the Hunt's can of Petite Tomatoes)
1 packet of chili seasoning (Any brand)
1 can of 15oz. black beans (rinsed)
I can of 15oz. dark or light kidney beans (rinsed)

Add everything into the pot...You can add salt, pepper to taste. Bring to a boil and then reduce and cook for 30 minutes or until veggies are soft.
* You can also use hamburger meat or ground turkey meat instead of the chicken.

It really does't take long to cook and it is good! I serve mine with garlic sticks or butter bread.
