Hi Krystina
How are you? I was doing the sb at the beginning of the year but I have fallen off the wagon. I would like to get back on the diet. I found it really worked well for me. I have 30 pounds to lose too. If you are interested in chatting you can email me at flyingmallard74@hotmail.com or we can just post here on the board.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Mel

I just started the SBD 3 days ago. These first two weeks are gonna be hard!

Do any of you know of any vegetarian recipes that work well for the SBD Phase 1?

I'm trying to lose 100 lbs. in however long it takes me.

Does the SBD help get rid of the carb craving? That is the worst!

I find that when I stick to the sbd then the carb and sugar cravings are not so hard. It does take awhile for that to happen. But it is worth it

Hey Careileen I was just wondering how you are doing on the sbd? Let us know.
I was on the sbd for a few months and lost lots of weight. I am trying to get back on the diet but having more trouble the second time around. I am mostly just trying to avoid sugar right now and will move on to the carbs soon
Talk to you soon,
Mel

Hey Krystina how is sb going. I am back to doing it hardcore day 2 for me. I have a headache but no food cravings, well minus the one I had for ice cream earlier. I have been working out a lot too. Just came back from a kick-butt karate class and had a tough one on friday too. I also rode 25km this morning on my bike
Talk to you soon,
Mel

Lol, thanks for the warning about your crabby-ness I get crabby and headachey on phase one but doing ok so far. I have had a few carbs but very little. I just got in from another two hour bike ride, this time over 25km I was very excitied about that. I am scared to step on the scale. I am going away next week so hopefully I will eat okay. As far as excerise that will be no problem because I will be walking everywhere.
Krystina - miss you lots too, hope to chat with you soon,
Mel

Yea cramps can get in the way. I am on like day 80 something of my cycle so anytime now I would like aunt flow to visit me, except not next week I am going to southern ontario . Congrats on day one, the first few days are the hardest. I usually am a Mcdonald's food junkie, I haven't touch the stuff for about a week, and the last time was breakfast. So with that I am doing well too.
I need to exercise. I am off work now and I get bored easily so I have been riding. I have been really liking it. Gives me time to relax and just think.
Hopefully we bump into each other online later.
Cool about the butterfly tattoo, you will have to send me pictures. I am thinking about getting another tattoo but I have to wait until I lose the weight (that is a goal that I have set). I see my sister next week and my friend and they haven't seen me since I have lost my weight so that will be fun.
Well I am writing forever here, I miss talking to you so much,
Hopefully we can connect online later,
Mel

Hey everyone!
I've thought about going on the south beach diet. Can anyone give me a little better idea of what this diet is? Or point me in the direction of some good resources for this diet? I need to lose about 30lbs as well, and hope this will be the way to do it!!
Thanks!!

The first two weeks are alittle tough but then it gets easier. I feel really good and I don't have bad food cravings when I stick to the diet.
