From the reading I have done, I never found anything that said it mattered much which day you started. I think a lot of it comes down to personal preference.

women with pcos should never have anything with soy!! do your research!!!
Not to be rude, but do your research. Plenty of women use soy in lieu of clomid.

I think traditionally, doctors prescribe clomid days 5-9. That is the days I take Soy. I got pg the first month but ended in a miscarriage. I will be takign Soy again this cycle. Good luck!

I've being trying to decide which days would be best aswell. I'm between 3-7 and 5-9.
From the research that I have done this past week states that Soy is not good for us that are TTC to take longer that a 5 day period.

I tried soy cd 3-7 as I wasn't sure when to try it either.
Soy for a prolonged period of time is indeed bad for women with PCOS. However, taking soy at the beginning of the cycle acts similar to clomid by tricking the body into thinking estrogen levels are low, thus causing the body into producing more FSH & LH to help stimulate follicle production. Of course, since it's a natural approach no formal research has been done on it but there have been women on this board who have conceived with soy.
Good luck!
