Question Soy users: can you keeping eating soy??

I'm trying soy days 3-7 (that's when my RE wanted me to take clomid) but I was wondering what the effects would be if I continued to eat some soy. Would that delay ovulation?? Is it better to stop completely after the 5 days??

I'm very much against the use of soy at all, but if you are going to use it to try to induce ovulation, if you consume other soy during the month, what you have on those few days is not going to invoke the surge in hormones that you're after.

Please keep a very close check on your thyroid function (like, getting tested every month) if you are using soy.

Let me know if you want more info on the dangers of soy.

Thanks for your reply and the info.
That does of course make sense. It would affect the surge if you are eating soy throughout the month.

Does that mean that if you do choose do regularly eat soy you would need proportionally more to create a surge???

Maybe - I don't know. Have you researched the possible dangers of using soy?

I eat soy probably 3-4 times a week.

This is the first time I've ever heard of soy causing problems.

Now I'm freakin' out.

Anyone have any links??????

TIA!

It may be only some that are susceptible, but I'm not willing to take the chance.
