Question Soy users--how did you feel...

Hi ladies!
I had my last day of soy 8 days ago. While I was taking it, I had a lot of twitches & pinchy sensations in the ovary/uterus area, and had lots of creamy/watery CM. Since then, I've had very little "activity" (I actually feel like I'm back on BCPs because there are no constant cramps), not much CM & my CP is about middle to high. All opk's & saliva ferns have been -, and I'm not temping so can't go by that. How did you feel inbetween your last day & when you O'd? I'm beginning to feel this was a bust.

Thanks~

Honestly on Soy I didn't feel much. If you don't end up ovulating this cycle I would increase your dose for next time. It's only been 8 days though, so you still have plenty of time to ovulate. Best wishes!

I have a question. What is the purpose of using Soy? What does it do?

Soy works just like the drug Clomid. It contains phytoestorogens that induces some wowen to ovulate. It doesn't work for everybody though. I used soy for the first time this cycle and had the strongest o I have ever felt in my life on CD9. I didn't believe it at first but I had a ton of watery CM and sharp pains! I'm expecting my bfp tomorrow morning!

Thanks for the replies! Did you get side effects similar to Clomid? I got nothing...no hot flashes, moodiness, etc. That's one of the reasons why I was thinking it was a bust. Also, what mg of soy would be equivalent to 150 mg of Clomid? Thx!

This was my first cycle using soy and I've felt more twinges in my ovaries than I have in a long time. It's been 8 days since I stopped the soy and so far I haven't o'd--my temps are way too low. Does it usually take a long time? I thought surely since I was feeling so much "activity" that I would have ovulated by now.

Other than that, I didn't have any side effects with the soy.

Oh wow. Thanks for all that information. Where can soy be bought? Is it sold in the form of pills? Can it be bought online?

Yes it comes in tablet form. I don't know if it can be bought online but I would imagine so. I bought mine at Walmart. They cost about $6 per bottle.

I think I spoke too soon about lack of activity, lol. The last day or two my uterus feels like a lead weight & last night I started getting AF-type cramps (no AF yet). Of course I had to test this morning for a BFN. So, I guess I need to wait a few days to see what happens.

Ginnette...I got my soy at Walgreens & have also seen it at Target. The prices I've seen are all comparable.

Your FF chart looked awesome up until yesterday...sorry you got AF But, at least you know soy worked! (gotta look at all the positives, right?)

CD 56 now, still no sign of AF or a BFP...how long until I consider this a bust & start over?

Wow Cd 56 is a long time. If it was me I would start NPC to get AF to show and start again maybe with a higher dose.
