Default Soy Works!!!!

It works, it works, it works!!!

I got a postive OPK just now!!!

That means - since we BD'd yesterday - I'm in a 2WW!!!

Can you tell I'm excited?!?

In case you're struggling, this is what my herbalist had me do (Warning - it's extreme): 200mg soy for 5 days, 100mg am and 100mg pm.

I started getting EWCM the 2nd day, by the 3rd day my cervix was soft and high, by the 5th day I had so much EWCM that it soaked through my panties (sorry, TMI, I know). And, I was horny as a little devil.

Congratulations

It worked for me too many moons ago, unfortunately I didnt become pg but it was still exciting to have a normal cycle from it. I tried dong quai 500 mgs and vitex combo 400 mgs and my sex drive was through the roof with those, I did get pg that cycle but m/c . Best of luck to you and hopefully you will have a bfp in a few weeks

I do the paleo diet also haha, what a coincidence

What cycle days did you take the soy? I am thinking of doing the soy next cycle. I am in the 2ww of my fourth clomid cycle, I ovulated, but I think af is coming. I have wicked cramps. I want to try the soy and hopefully I will get more ewcm ( I get little to none on clomid) and ovulate.

Maniea - I didn't do the soy until CD54 - yes, 54 days into my cycle when I was frustrated out of my mind that vitex had not worked. In fact, I had stopped it for almost 2 weeks before my herbalist suggested that we try it. I was done with it yesterday, today is CD60.

My herbalist says it doesn't really matter when you take it - a day or two after AF ends would be normal, but you can do it later (obviously, look at me). The idea is to be consistent with dose and # of days.

How did you take the soy. Is it powder, tablets, or what. I need something to work...

Who do you know you o'd. When did you know to use the OPK. How long after you finished the pills did you ovulate?

lioness_liyah - I used the OPK the day after my last dose of soy. With my temp rise that morning, I just had a feeling I should use it. My herbalist says it's usually not that fast - normally it takes 3-5 days after the dose for Oing.

Now, an update on what I've experienced. So, Thursday I got the +OPK and the higher temp. Friday and Saturday, my temps dropped to 97.6 and 97.7. But, my CM dried up. Today, my temp is up to 98.2.

The OPK says that 24-48 hours after the +OPK is when O actually happens. So, I'm going with I O'd on Friday.

MR- did you already have periods on your own? Did you O on your own?

I was going to try the vitex/dong quai combo then go with soy. I am overweight, typical PCOS, no periods unless on meds, no O'ing that I know of on my own either. Several rounds of clomid, one round of injections (had to cancel)

THanks for input!

Babydust4me - Actually, until that cycle, I'd had average, 32-day cycles and I O'd every time. It was my 9th cycle off BCP and my dr had said I would probably become annov at some point, so at 54 day, when vitex/dong quai were not working anymore, I tried the soy. I'm now 10weeks PG.

Good luck.
