Hi

Spiro and Aldactone are the same thing, just a different name!!

I personally have Spiro, I take 100 in the morning.

Dr. Geoffrey Redmond author of The Good News About Women's Hormones, says that the generic, spironolactone, is not as effective as the brand name, Aldactone. The brand name is absorbed by the body better or something like that.

I saw Dr. Redmond way back in 1990 and I thought he would be my savior! He put me on sprinolactone which I eventually went off since it did not seem to help much. I probably should have seen him more often but I moved away.
