Hi all...I was reading an old post the other day and it mentioned a possible ling between spiro and breast cancer in men and woman...that is really scary...has anyone heard anything about this?

If you search on the internet you will find vague references that say it has been shown to cause cancer in lab animals. I've never found the actual study that says what dosage was used on what type of animal and for how long. It has not ever been linked to breast cancer in a human, but that does not mean that someone on Spiro hasn't been diagnosed with breast cancer. It means there have been no studies on humans that prove it causes cancer. It may increase estrogen in your body and some tumors are estrogen fueled, so it could possibly cause breast cancer, but so could BCP and so could Soy all which contain estrogen and may increase it in your body.
