 Spiro on certain days of my cycle?
Hello. I just got back from my endocrinologist after getting my insulin down a LOT through diet and exercise. I also have been having periods on my own. YAY!
We talked about options for hirsutism. Laser is quite out of my budget at the moment (I'm still in college ><) but I'd like to give it a go in the future. In the mean time we talked birth control and spiro.
My endo has been WONDERFUL through all of this and I totally trust him. He helps and gives input, but lets me make decisions and listens to everything I have to say.
He gave me an rx for 100mg of Spiro 2x a day and Loestrin. He told me that on the pill and Spiro, I should only take Spiro on days 4-22 of my cycle. Has anyone heard of this? o_O |
