Default Spiro and eyes

Hello. I have been on spironolactone for a while and my eyes get this burning painful feeling. I stopped the spiro for a while and it went away. It is really bad and makes me feel tired. Has anybody else had this happen? I went down on my dose and it isn't as bad now but now my acne and oily skin are back.

She told me to cut down on the dose if it helped. She didn't say if it was normal to have that reaction or not though. They just get really heavy and tired feeling like I haven't slept in a few days.

I get the burning sensation in my eyes as well, but I have yet to start Spiro. Actually this all just started after coming off hormones completely (TBC to be exact). My guess is that it probably isn't related to Spiro. Just to be sure have you asked the prescribing doc?

I have been off Spiro for quite some time now but I remember posting a question about whether it was making anyone else produce more tears. I just remember my eyes being really teary all the time.
