This question is primarily for Kat Carney as she posts a lot of the studies regarding these meds.
So, Kat, in your reading on each of these have you seen any significant information on either regarding instances of regrowth, which could lead someone to try one over the other when combined with Met?
I'm on Spiro with Met right now and am having some success, but am wondering if Flutamide with Met would be more promising as to regrowing scalp hair. What is your general impression from the studies you've seen? Does one show more promise than the other?
thanks for your help.

I honestly have no idea, and don't think I've ever read anything about either drug being used specifically for 'regrowth'.
Sorry I can't be of more help.
Of the 3 drugs you've mentioned (Met, Spiro, Flut), I've never taken met, so I can't offer any personal anecdotal comments, either.
When I was taking flut, and working out a LOT, I noticed that I had better regrowth when I washed my hair daily. Maybe it had something to do with keeping DHT off of my scalp? (Just a theory...I honestly don't know.)

Hi Kat. So you had no success with spiro to at least stop hair loss . I know regrowth is another story. What did you use to wash your hair?
