Default Spiro Increase

Ok so i got a question for anyone here taking spiro. I started out on 50 mg about a year ago, then went to 100 mg. Things were going great. My hairloss stopped and body hair was growing slower and gettin a little bit finer. Well, a couple of months ago, I got it increased to 200 mg a day. I noticed hairloss got worse right away but I know this is normal when starting a new dose. But it still hasnt stopped and I think my body hair is just as bad as before. So Im wondering could 200mg be too high a dose for me? I thought the higher you go in dose, the better the results. Anybody know?

First off, why would you increase your dose if the 100mg seemed to be working well? Also, sometimes going to higher dose can cause your hormones to get a little crazy at first. Acne, hair loss, etc. can get worse at first but should subside after a few weeks.

I just thought from what I read that 200mg is the dose that gives the best results. Guess I'm gonna just take 100mg a day and see if anything improves. Thanx anywayz

it does, but it sometimes come with the trade off of increased side effects. See the link.
