Anyone with experience in this issue?

I was on spiro a couple of years back, but didn't have great success with it - honestly, I wasn't on it long enough to have great effects (3-4 months at the most). Plus, the scheduling of the meds was a real pain, I constantly missed some doses.

My question is this.. I can ask for more, I'm sure he'd (my GYN) would oblige (old family friend after all LOL), but would that not entail staying on Spiro indefinately for results? I'm already going to be on Gluc. God knows how long....

Anyone know the answer to this? :-)

I've been on Spiro about 16 months now, and from what I've heard you have to keep on taking it to get the results from it.
