Spiro - My Endo Just Told Me Hi
Just been to see my Endo today, and he said that a side effect of Spiro is heavy bleeding on a period. This is totally news to me............
i have a Mirena - because of heavy bleeding - and he said that was the best thing to have. Anyone else been told this? Just wondering

I bled non-stop on Spiro... it was the reason I went off it.
Doesn't happen to all women and supposedly some women adjust to it but after 5+ weeks of heavy bleeding I looked and felt like a cadaver.
Ironically I had regular (ovulatory) periods for the next 5 months or so...
