I HAVE READ SO MANY STORIES ABOUT CYSTERS STARTING SPIRO AND HAVING LOTS OF LONG-TERM AND IRREGULAR BLEEDING. I STARTED SPIRO 3 WEEKS AGO. SO FAR, NO BLEEDING, AND MY PERIOD IS ACTUALLY SEVERAL DAYS LATE!
SHOULD I BE CONCERNED? MAYBE EVEN TEST FOR PREGNANCY?
MY PERIOD WAS NORMAL EVEN BEFORE SPIRO, I AM CONFUSED. ISN'T IT ALMOST ALWAYS THE OPPOSITE?

I have had the same problem for 8 months now. My doctors can not confirm that theory. Good luck. If I hear something, I will be sure to let you know.

Update! Well, I decided to go ahead and take a hpt just in case. And...it was positive! I was shocked because we've only been trying for a few weeks! But, I am waiting to get a dr confirmation before I 'get happy' and tell my family. Does anyone know if I could get a false positive b/c of spiro or my hormonal imbalance?? I also used the Equate brand test, so I am leary about it, have now heard that it gives alot of false positives.
Any advice is appreciated.
