Default Spiro questions!!! Please help

I have been taking Yasmin since 5/06, about 1 year. It worked great for taking care of unwanted hair up until the end of March 07. So for almost 10 months it worked fabulous. For some reason, maybe because I've been stressed,(started school, college), since the end of March everything's been getting a little bit more fuzzy in the unwanted hair department. I can't figure out why, except maybe because of stress. Why would Yasmin work so great and then all of a sudden stop?

Anyway, I've been thinking about adding Spiro (low dose) to my Yasmin. I am really nervous about this, since I don't want to cause anymore issues with my body. Has anyone had good/bad experiences with Spiro? Please share. Also, how come the side effects that I read about with Spiro include unwanted hair growth and deepening of voice?! I thought the whole purpose of it was to get RID of unwanted hair, not CAUSE it. And the whole deepening of voice thing really has me freaked out.

I really thought I was on easy street with Yasmin alone, but now I'm considering Spiro added to my routine. A little freaked....please share stories of Spiro use.....would be helpful.

I actually started taking both spiro and Yasmin at the same time, about 5 months ago. I take 50 mg of spiro twice a day. I have seen good results with it removing unwanted hair. You are supposed to wait at least 6 months before you see full results, but I am already noticing a difference. In addition to removing facial hair, I don't have to shave my legs every other day either. As far as side effects, I didn't really notice any. I felt a little nauseous when I first started taking it. However, I don't know if it was the Spiro, Yasmin, or both. I didn't have any extra unwanted hair, and I didn't have a deepening of the voice. I think this is probably pretty rare. If your voice deepens, I would imagine that it would stop once you stop taking the spiro. Maybe somebody else will have more information about this. Or you could talk to your dr. if you are really concerned.
