I have read a few reports that they do work differently , so theorectically you could take them together. Check around the 'net for info.
( Also Saw Palmetto has no known drug interactions).
However, have you been on just one of them for at least 3-6 months to give it a chance by itself? aNd at the right dosage for each one?
Spirolactone needs to be taken at 100-200mg/day and there are several references that say the brand name Aldactone is much more effective than the generic spironolactone.
Saw Palmetto must be the standardized version of the herb, 320mg/day is recommended.
