Smile Spiro users: how long did it take for you to see a diff in hair growth?

My doc put me on spiro a short while ago, and I just wanted to see how long it took spiro users to start noticing a difference in hair growth. My free testosterone level is high, and he put me on spiro to control it. (I know it's not instant, but I didn't know if it would be many months or a year before I'd see a difference.)

Any insights or personal stories would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

Julie

I just got a prescription for spiro today. My doctor told me to expect to see a difference in 6 months.

Hi

I've been on spiro 3 years now, and my hair is much better, although I still have to 'do' my face each morning.

My endo said that it takes about 1 year to get to maximum effect, but mine was a bit better after a few months.

Thanks, everyone! I appreciate the info. Now I sort of know what to expect.

MakeupJunkie,

First I wanted to tell you way to go on your weight loss thats great. I started spiro back in October of last year and it took a few months to see results probally 3 or more (some of it could have been wishful thinking that it worked so soon though). Have always heard not to give up on it till after a year.
