I've been on spiro for about a week, I was told that I would need to go to the toilet more often when I went on it but this hasn't happened, also their was no information with the pills like you usually get it just came in a plane white box has this happened to everyone else.

I was on Sprio and loved it. Only went off due to pregnancy and plan to get back onto it soon. It works GREAT but is does take a while to work. I noticed less hair growth and less sweating. Not much on the potty side of things. However I potty ALL the time. Like an old lady...

thanks for the reply's I knew I had to wait a while to see any results but thought it was strange that they had no effect on me needing to go to the bathroom more, maybe it's just me I just hope that the stuff has an effect on the ape body I have.

Hi

I've been on spiro about 4 years now, and I love it. My endo said that it takes about 9 - 12 months to get to maximum benefit.

I always go to the loo all the time anyway..............

Since it's a diuretic, the first few days I had to go all the time, just to get rid of the excess water in my body. I must have gotten up to pee 6 times that first night! (And I usually only get up twice.) If you weren't carrying a lot of water weight then it probably wouldn't affect you that way.

Now I go the normal amount. Or what's normal for me, anyway.

i was thirsty on spiro- thus i drank more water--- and went potty more--- I think it just depends on the person and dose amount with a small dose like 25 or 50 I didn't notice much change at all--

I've been on spiro for awhile, and my Rx ran out, gonna get a new one in a couple weeks or so!

Hope spiro works well for you!!

I've to go back to docs in a couple of weeks to get blood test so i'll ask why I didn't get any info with it. I am only on 50mg so maybe thats why I havn't noticed much of a change with needing to go.

Well here's hoping it works.
