Default Spironolactone & Losing Weight?
1.Has anyone losted weight just being on Spironolactone?
2.If so how did it make u lose weight?
3.If u don't know what ALL do u think?
4.And why?

I've been on Spiro and Met (2000mg) since July and have dropped 22 lbs. IDK if it's just the Spiro or the met or both, but I'm not complaining!

It's an antiandrogenic med, which means it helps keep the male sex hormone levels down. It's also a bit of a diuretic. If you want more info, I'd search ti on Web MD
