Default spironolactone and ttc?

hi! i know you aren't supposed to be taking spironolactone while ttc, but does anyone know the recommended wait time between stopping taking it and when it's safe to start ttc? thanks!

Two months (or at least two cycles) is also what my endocrinologist told me.

I'm not ttc, but expressed the concern with accidentally getting preggers while on Spiro and he mentioned that wait time to be safe.

Most definately a couple of cycles. Truth is, it leaves the body much earlier but doctors make a big window because you never know when a patient may have a liver/kidney that stores meds. Spiro is an antiandrogen and will affect your baby's reproductive system in the very early stages of your pregnancy. Can't use it while breastfeeding either. Good luck.
