Hey guys, I'm just looking for some advice. I hope I'm not repeating an old thread, but my acne is centred mainly on my chin and jaw line. I get really painful cyst like spots, which are extremely stubborn and take weeks to disappear. I just wondered if having spots centred in a one place, such as my chin, meant anything?! I know sometimes it can indicate some nutrient you are lacking or something..so maybe by introducing something to my diet I could ease it a little? I've been through 2 courses of Roaccutane treatment and it still refuses to budge, which is just so frustrating!

I am new here, but curious, too. This is the only place I have acne, I've taken to calling it my zit goatee, and I got a cystic acne "bump" for the first time in my LIFE there this last month, and it just won't go away. The acne is really starting to build up
I have the same problem. I wonder if it is just the PCOS or something else. I use Glytone and that helps with the oil and pimples, but not the cyst like bumps. I thought it was just my vaniqua for excess hair growth, but maybe not.
I too get bad cystic stuff on my chin, ugg, and it takes weeks, months to go away! I have found that making sure I take all my vitamins and not eating so much refined carbs helped me. I switched to eating less bread, and if I do eat bread or rice it's whole wheat and stuff. This is the only thing that helps me from getting the bad cysts.

I get acne on my chin and jaw line too, but its just surface acne...
Somebody once told me that acne on those areas could be an indication of a dairy allergy...I don't know if thats true though...try googling it maybe??
