I accidentally skipped two active pills in the 2nd week of pills. I have doubled up the pills like I the pamplet says to do, but I have been spotting for the last 2 days. I have been also having some cramping on the left side (in the ovary area).

What should I do? Should I wait it out and hope that the bleeding will stop on its own or should I call my doctor? This is the first time since I have taken Orthotricyclen that I have had any episodes of missing pills or spotting.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have done this and it will stop. I spotted on this pill if I was under alot of stress and took it incorrectly. Just use backup and finish the pack. It should go away.
