Hi again,
Up until now I've had brown spotting since the d&c on Tuesday. Today its red spotting. Should I call the Dr.'s office tomorrow, or is this normal?

I think thats normal I had brown spotting and red bleeding for over a week after the d/c .. I pretty much had almost a normal period bleed after the D & C

mine went small amounts of red, to brown then to a heavy red like AF about 5 days later.. then stopped shortly after so it seems like you're fine. Just keep an eye and make sure its not heavier than a heavy period or if your passing huge clots or any of that stuff

Thanks, Tara. I guess my concern lies in that it started brown and has moved to red. I'd feel a bit better about it if it began as red, then changed to brown further out from the procedure....

I think that's pretty normal too, but it never hurts to call and make sure. I bled/spotted for about 4 days afterwards.

Red tapered off yesterday. Wonder if I just overdid it? We'll see what today brings. Its been 6 days since the D&C. I'm going to call anyhow to ask about when we can resume DTD.

I recall vividly that after my D&C in 1992 that I bled red blood/ick for 8 days straight until it went to just spotting....if you are like me, you'll be ready to have it done.
