Default spotting after stopping met?

I stopped taking my met about 3 days ago because I'm going to be going on Clomid. Yesterday I went to go to the bathroom and there was just brown spotting (a moderate amount) in my underwear. I didn't have cramps or anything I didn't even know. I'm still spotting today, all brown old but still no cramps. Is this normal after stopping met?

Maybe AF decided to visit you and you happened to stop taking Met at the same time. I usually spot brown for a day or two before going into full AF. I don't think you have anything to worry about unless you spot for over a week or don't have a visit from AF. Either way I think you should let your doc know at your next appt. HTH!

Thanks, I've never really spotted before so this is a bit weird to me. Usually with AF my breasts are so sore I can't move , but I don't feel anything at all. It figures this happens to me 1 day before I'm going to Sea Worlds new waterpark Aquatica right! I dont' get my period practically the whole year, and ONE DAY before I go to a freaking water park for the first time in like 10 years I get spotting lol!! So goes my life .. Well if it is AF on her way on the brightside I can start the Clomid way sooner than I expected, cause I don't have to take the progesterone and then wait for AF and THEN start the clomid. HMMMM we shall see

I went off Met for a vacation, and had AF come on CD 26 (three days after stopping the met). My cycles are usually 35 or more days, so it was a bit of a surprise. Luckily, this was a week before vacation for me. My sympathies on the water park issue
