Default spotting before periods

How many of you have this?

I am wondering if it is associated with PCOS/ infertility/ endometriosis???

I was just dxed with PCOS, although the RE doesn't seem to think I have endo. I have been ttc for 14 months.

Ever since going off the pill 2 years ago, my periods are irregular, and when I get it, I usually spot on & off for 3-4 days before, then bleed lightly for 2 days, then spot again for a couple of days. I have been extremely concerned with this, but my RE just brushes it off.

Also, this type of cycle occurs even when I have O'ed, on Gonal-F and clomid, so it's not just anovulatory bleeding.

Thanks in advance!

I get this too... now it means either you are not really building up a lining... or you are not sheding all your lining... you need to find out which one it is... cause if for some reason you are not shedding all the lining you need to go on medication for it...

I read in quite a few places that this is associated with endo although I dont think that it is enough to make a diagnosis. Although I must say that the spotting afterwards doesnt really sound like endo.
Here is a list of a few symptoms that go along with endo. If more that a few apply to you, I say head to the doc and demand a lap.
Good luck,
Chancy
