Hi,

I am waiting for AF to arrive, then i have to take Clomid days 2-6, what day is cd1?, is it when i'm spotting or does spotting not count?.

So far...TTC since Jan '06:

Natural AF's: 2 a year.
1st Clomid: March '06...BFN, 2nd-7th: No ovulation.
Met: '06...no effect.
O/D: Sept '06...no effect.
1st IUI: June '08...BFN.
2nd IUI: Nov '08...BFN.

Whilst on a break from treatment: June '09: first natural ovulation after a teeney bit of acupuncture...BFN.

July '09: Trying a more natural approach...coming off Metformin, starting acupuncture, low GI and exercise.

Hi,
Spotting does not count. You have to see red blood in order for it to count as CD 1.

I've heard the same thing

my doc told me as soon as you have to wear a pad/tampon.... usually my first day is pretty light almost does not need a panty liner... but i usually get ancioux to take the clomid so i count it as cd1 anyway.. lol

Yep full flow is what they tell me also.

My dr. told me the first red flow is considered CD1, but he said that if I wake up with it, to consider that CD2 just so that I'm not taking the Clomid a day too late. He said that it's better to take it a day early than a day late.
