Default Spotting of week 2 in month 3

Hi,

I have a question and I hope someone can help me with it. I started the birth control pill Alesse in November which I am on the generic one which is called Aviane. My question is I started it in November and had no breakthrough bleeding in November or December. Now I am on my third month of being on it and last Wednesday I started spotting. Last week would have been week 2 of month 3. Has anyone else had that happen to them? It was not a spot here and there it was consistent and almost like having my period. Does anyone have any answers to this? By Sunday night it had quit. Monday and today I have had a couple of little little spot that I really don't think I need to worry about. Last week on Monday I was taking all of my pills and put them in my mouth and then opened my mouth to make sure the were all there and this one was not. I don't know if I did swallow it or if I went down the drain and I did not see it go down. My doctor and my Chiropractor said one day should not make a difference. Does anyone have any answers to this? Please help. I am due for my period next week. Sorry if there is TMI.
