I lived in Springfield for 30 years,I am not in Springfield anymore but I did see a doctor in Springfield for PCOS and she was through Cox Health Systems and her name is Linda McGorman she is an endocrinologist. She helped me get some of the symptoms under control and then before she could do anything else our insurance changed. The family doctor that referred me to her is Donna Roberts in Republic.

Where is Springfield are you? My parents are there and I make the 2 hour drive regularly.

Hi there,

Another cyster let me know about your thread. I live in Springfield, MO. I have only been here for 10 months but I found a great Family Practitioner. What insurance do you have? And where in Springfield are you living? I don't know if I can be of much help becasue I have been here for such a short time, but I will do what I can to help you.

I actually live in Whealand (Bolivar area), but I know Springfield is the only hope for a PCOS Dr near me. I am willing to travel to Kansas City if I have to. I just haven't found a PCOS dr anywhere here. Any information is helpful. I will check into the Dr listed.
Thanks so much.

Hi, do any of you still live in or near Springfield, MO? I am moving there in a few weeks. I am going to need to find a new dr. Do you recommend any? I'd also love to make new friends. I'm 25. I have pcos and type 2 diabetes. I am married but no kids yet. Hope to hear from you soon.

Tera

Hello everyone. I started a Springfield PCOS myspace. Hopefully some people will join and then we can have meetups.

Before I was dx, I emailed a Dr. Case in I think Jefferson City Mo to get his opinion. He emailed me back and I wish I lived closer to him because I would definately see him. He was very nice in his email and very encouraging. I've never seen him or even heard of him before. I just found him on the internet and emailed him out of the blue. He was very nice. You might give him a try. He is an Endo and his name is Dr. Case. Good luck.
