The last couple days the temp has gotten up to about 50 degrees(farenheit). Makes it feel like summer in comparison with the bitter winter we were having.
The snow is melting fast, but still 8-10 inches (packed) in most places.
The day before yesterday some kids playing street hockey had to get outta my way (when I went by them in my truck). I had to laugh, they were wearing shorts and t-shirts. And they were not much taller than the snowbank alongside them.

Oh yes and I am loving it. It has been in the 60's and 70's here and I have been in shorts for 2 weeks now. To top it off it has been raining for a week. So you know spring is here. The grass is getting nice and green and everything is growing and looking so nice.

Well I am in Florida so it doesn't seem to ever be springlike here, mostly summer like. The kids are already using the pool and we are all working on our tans.
Its summer weather Im in sw florida and we went to a water park yesterday!!!!!!!!! ha-ha
(SORRY couldnt resist---really Im jealous of the snow)

It's more springlike here than it has been (it's 50F today) -- we just got rid of ~2' of snow.
But BRING ON THE SPRING! I'm ready.

Well considering we've had rain everyday since last thursday.. yes spring is finally here. Rain is gone and it is sunny and in the mid 70's. Supposed to be like this all weekend and into next week. Got my shorts on and windows open!!

Hello everyone, I guess I have to be the odd one in the bunch as usual. I always like to be different, so please don't hate me for saying what I'm about to say.......... I want it to snow again and again and again.........I love the snow it is sooooo soothing. I especially love it when it snows so much that they close the schools, and we get to stay home and play in it and sleep late, watch some T.V. ,and poke around on the computer and I could go on and on , but I'll be nice to you guys and cut it short.....

We had a huge melt today, you can actually see dead grass now in places.
Went out to check the pool, it "might" thaw by fall. The filter didn't make it though, I forgot to drain it.
ILUVPCOSer you may want to consider moving to New Hampshire or further North if you like snow so much. I'm willing to bet that a few months of having frozen boogers will make you look forward to warmer weather.
But....... I did turn that snow into some extra bucks this year!
Here's my truck on Thanksgiving day. It's from my snowplow site thats why it has the goofy edges. I didn't want to give the url to the site since I don't want nationwide advertisement and more phonecalls.

Snowed here yesterday and this morning. I too thought Spring was here. Was NOT prepared to plow. Got up to go to work, opened the front door and was greeted with snow.

60's? 70's? 80's? Try 103! Thats the hottest it has been here yet. That was on Monday then yesterday our high was 62 and today it was 75. Gotta love west texas. If you don't like the weather wait a few minutes it will change. LOL

I am from CANADA the land of IGLOOS and hhhmmm never ending snow ?? Anyways here in Ontario its been 13-19 degress (sorry i dont know how to convert it) but it has been warm enough to wear shorts and have a glorious weekend at the cottage
No swimming yet though (plus I dont have a pool)
okay okay the TV says its only going to be 11 today ! 11 !! I am going to freeze my buns off
